This thing is warm. I'm talking t-shirt and sweater when it's 30 degrees out. It's super simple modeled after a traditional cycling jacket but made of heavy weight wool. The sweater has two large rear pockets (one with reflective detailing) and one very small internal pocket. Zipper seemed solid and could be zipped and un-zipped on the fly with no problems. I am very impressed with this one...now if it would only get cold enough in LA for me to wear it.

This one is not as warm but I don't think it is supposed to be. It is meant to be layered underneath something in the winter, base-layer underneath it in the Spring and Fall and solo in the summer. When I was in RVA for the NAHBS I wore this with a light weight down sweater over it and was plenty warm. The great thing about this sweater is the Ninja Hood and it's ability to fit underneath a helmet. It basically has a built in balaclava. The sweater is made of very nice merino wool so it is very comfortable and allows you to wear it over your head and face with no irritation or itchiness.
