[FRAME] Chapter Ten!

Its not been long and we've reached our tenth Frame interview. Its definitely been interesting meeting everyone, seeing what people are getting up to around the world and getting insights to what people are doing right now in the cycling industry. Its definitely been fun doing them and we hope to be bringing many more videos in the near future...

So for our tenth interview, me met up with Angus Sung who is reppin the 5th Floor crew based in London. 5th Floor are a pretty new riding crew/blog but that doesn't mean they're any less active. What you first notice about 5th Floor is that it all looks pretty well designed, and this we think really represents their intentions. Angus tells us how 5th Floor started and what crazy projects they have in store... And it all sounds pretty exciting. It really is happening in London and 5th Floor are present in the epicenter of it all.

Paul Smith has been hella busy!

For Spring Summer 2010 Paul Smith is working with legendary helmet makers Giro.

Paul has chosen one style of cycling helmet which he has customised in three different styles - each feature unique Paul Smith designs.

A keen cycling fan, Paul Smith fell into fashion aged 17 after a cycling accident put an end to his hopes of becoming a professional racing cyclist. However, to this day Paul remains an avid supporter of the cycling world.

Drawing upon Paul’s interest in cycling, Giro invited Paul to design the ultimate, inspirational protective helmet. The result is three simple, striking and colourful designs that will be exhibited during the Milan Furniture Fair this April.

‘With cycling becoming ever more popular especially in cities, making a cycle helmet which we feel good in is quite difficult. I think the shape of these helmets is really great and the matt finishes are really good. Apart from offering them in plain colours I have also added some colourful designs to them which I hope add more fun to something which could save your life!’
